Eagle News Network

Fridley, Minnesota, USA - October 6th, 2016 - The Eagle News Network is the online newspaper for Totino-Grace High School, written and edited by the students of  the Journalism course. The students report on news that affects and interests their school community, such as athletic events, politics, awards presented to their peers, or ceremonial occasions. Working on the ENN is an opportunity for these students to better their writing and reporting skills and learn about journalism.

The website is updated with new stories weekly and features videos, polls, articles, and photographs. All interviews are conducted and all photographs are taken by the TG journalism students each week.

The Eagle News Network was created by last year’s journalism students and has since been taken over by a new staff this fall. The staff includes four student editors, twelve contributing writers, and Mr. McKeown, who oversees all aspects of the ENN.

The ENN is the only student-run and influenced news outlet for the Totino-Grace community, making it a unique source of information. The ENN is a collaborative machine because it takes into account all opinions, sets aside bias, and interviews teachers, staff, and students from all activities, departments and grades.
